These terms apply between you and LE2M Holding when you download and play My City, My Empire. By installing the game, you accept them.
1. The game
My City, My Empire (in French: Ma Ville, Mon Empire) is a property-wealth simulation game for iOS and Android, published by LE2M Holding (France). You buy land, obtain permits, build, let to tenants and manage loans, taxes and risks. It works without an account and stores your game only on your device.
2. A game, not advice
My City, My Empire is a game. All the money in it is fictional. The properties, loans, rents, taxes, interest rates, prices, delays and events it shows are invented, simplified, and match no real country, market or law.
Nothing in the game, in its "Did you know?" cards or on this website is financial, tax, legal or investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, borrow or invest. Results obtained in the game say nothing about what would happen in real life. Before any real decision, consult qualified professionals. LE2M Holding accepts no liability for decisions you take outside the game.
3. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for private, non-commercial use. The details are in the End User License Agreement. On iOS, Apple's standard EULA applies.
4. Gems and in-game money
Gems, in-game cash, properties and other in-game items are virtual. They are part of the game, have no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for real money, goods or services, and cannot be transferred to another person or another device.
Gems can be used in the game to shorten a wait (bank, notary, building site, tradesperson and so on), to activate boosters, or to be exchanged for fictional in-game cash. They never replace a step of the game: the application, the permit, the payment and the choice remain to be made.
Important: because there is no account and no server, your game and your gems exist only on your device. If you uninstall the game, change device or restart the game, they are lost and we cannot restore them.
5. In-app purchases
- Consumables: four gem packs (store identifiers ending in
gems_s,gems_m,gems_landgems_xl). They are credited once and are used up as you play. - Non-consumable: "Remove ads" (
no_ads). It is bought once: video bonuses are then granted without watching a video, and full-screen ads are no longer shown. It can be recovered on the same store account with Restore purchases, available in Settings and in the Shop.
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play, at the price shown at the time of purchase, and are charged to your store account. LE2M Holding never receives your payment card details.
Gems are delivered immediately. Purchases are not refundable, except where the law or the store's own policy requires it; refund requests are handled by Apple or Google. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
6. Advertising
The game shows ads served by Google AdMob: optional rewarded videos and full-screen interstitial ads. There are no banner ads. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads or for the sites and apps they link to. See the Privacy Policy for your choices.
7. Fair use
You agree not to copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the game except where the law expressly allows it, not to bypass purchase or advertising mechanisms, and not to use the game for any unlawful purpose.
8. Intellectual property
The game, its name, logo, graphics, texts and code belong to LE2M Holding or its licensors. Third-party components are listed on the licenses page.
9. Availability and changes
We may update the game, rebalance its rules, add or remove content, change prices of future purchases, or stop distributing the game. We try to keep the game working well but do not promise that it will be free of bugs or interruptions, or compatible with every device.
10. Liability
The game is provided for entertainment. To the extent permitted by law, LE2M Holding is not liable for indirect damage or for the loss of a locally stored game or items, for example after uninstalling the app, restarting the game or changing device. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, nor the statutory guarantees consumers benefit from.
11. Children
The game is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. If you are a minor, ask a parent or guardian before making any purchase.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If you continue to play after a change, the new terms apply.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country.
