This page describes the licence you receive when you install My City, My Empire.
On iPhone and iPad
My City, My Empire is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement:

In summary, Apple's standard agreement:
- grants you a non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, within the App Store usage rules;
- forbids copying, reverse-engineering, modifying, renting or redistributing the app, except where the law allows it;
- provides the app "as is", limits warranties and liability to the extent the law permits, and leaves your statutory rights untouched;
- ends automatically if its terms are not respected.
This summary is given for convenience only; the text published by Apple is the one that applies. Our Terms of Use add the rules specific to the game (virtual items, purchases, advertising, fictional money).
On Android
The licence below applies, together with our Terms of Use and the Google Play Terms of Service, which govern your use of Google Play and your purchases there.
Licence granted by LE2M Holding
- Scope. LE2M Holding grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the game on devices you own or control, for private and non-commercial purposes.
- Restrictions. You may not sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game; copy, modify, reverse-engineer or decompile it except where the law expressly allows it; or remove its copyright notices.
- Ownership. The game is licensed, not sold. LE2M Holding and its licensors keep all rights not expressly granted. Open-source components remain under their own licences, listed on the licenses page.
- In-app purchases. Gem packs are consumable; "Remove ads" is non-consumable and can be restored from Settings or the Shop. Gems are virtual and have no real-world value. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google.
- A game. All money in the game is fictional; the game is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice.
- Data. The game has no account and no server. See the Privacy Policy.
- Warranty. The game is provided "as is", without any warranty other than those required by law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
- Termination. The licence ends automatically if you do not respect it. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the game.
- Governing law. French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
