My City, My Empire has no account, no sign-in and no game server. This policy explains what stays on your device, what our advertising partner may process, and the choices you have.
1. In short
- No account and no sign-in. You never give us an email address or a password to play.
- No game server. LE2M Holding runs no backend for the game. Your game is saved only on your device and is never sent to us.
- No analytics of our own. The app sends us no statistics and we do not measure or profile how you play.
- Advertising is provided by Google AdMob only. Google may process some device data to deliver ads (see section 5).
- Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive your payment card details.
2. Who is responsible
The game is published by LE2M Holding (France), which is the data controller for the limited processing described here. For any privacy question, write to loic-emmanuel.bah@le2mholding.com.
3. Data stored on your device
The game saves the following on your phone or tablet so that you can pick up where you left off:
- the first name or nickname you type when you create your player, the avatar you pick (man or woman) and the display currency you choose;
- your game: fictional cash, job, plots and buildings, loans, tenants, credit score, rank, chapters, notifications shown in the game;
- your gems and whether you own the "Remove ads" option;
- your settings: language, sound and haptics;
- technical markers: the references of recent store transactions already delivered (so that a purchase is never credited twice) and whether the notification permission has already been requested.
This information stays in the app's local storage. It is not sent to LE2M Holding or to anyone else; we cannot see it, copy it or restore it. It is erased if you uninstall the app; the game itself is erased if you use Settings > Restart the game.
4. Data we do not collect
LE2M Holding does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, or any identifier that would single you out as a player. The game does not ask for access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos or location.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads through Google AdMob: rewarded videos, which you always choose to watch or not, and interstitial ads (full-screen ads shown at a pause in the game). There are no banner ads. To deliver, measure and secure these ads, Google may process:
- advertising identifiers (Apple IDFA, Android advertising ID);
- your IP address, from which an approximate location (country, city area) can be inferred;
- device information (model, operating system, language, screen size, network type);
- ad interaction data (ads shown, clicks, videos completed) and diagnostic data.
This data is sent directly from your device to Google. LE2M Holding does not receive it in a form that identifies you. Google handles it under its own policy: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services. See also our advertising partners page.
Your consent
- On iPhone and iPad, the system's App Tracking Transparency prompt asks whether the app may track you. If you refuse, the advertising identifier is not shared.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) is shown before any ad. You can accept, refuse or customise, and you can reopen the form at any time in the game under Settings > Privacy choices.
If you refuse personalised advertising, you may still see ads, but they are not based on your profile.
6. In-app purchases
Gem packs and the "Remove ads" option are sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store processes your payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We never receive your card number or billing details; the app only learns from the store whether a purchase succeeded, and records it on your device.
7. Notifications
If you allow them, the game schedules local notifications on your device (for example when a building site is finished or a complaint is about to expire): three a day at most, and none at night. They are prepared by the app itself, on the device. We operate no notification server and receive no notification identifier. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings.
8. Legal bases
- Local storage of your game and settings: necessary to provide the game you asked for (performance of a contract).
- Personalised advertising and the use of advertising identifiers: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Answering your emails: our legitimate interest in replying to you.
9. How long data is kept
Game data stays on your device until you restart the game or uninstall the app. We hold no copy. Data processed by Google is kept according to Google's policies. If you email us, we keep your message only for the time needed to handle your request, then delete it.
10. Transfers outside Europe
Google may process advertising data on servers located outside the European Union, with the safeguards described in its privacy policy. LE2M Holding itself transfers no personal data, since it holds none from the game.
11. Children
My City, My Empire is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. It contains advertising and in-app purchases. See the information for parents.
12. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in France this is the CNIL.
Because we hold no personal data from the game, most requests concern data processed by Google for advertising. The data request page explains how to reset your advertising identifier, withdraw your consent and erase the data on your device. You can always write to us at loic-emmanuel.bah@le2mholding.com.
13. This website
monempire.le2mholding.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers, and loads nothing from external servers. As with any website, the server necessarily handles technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.
14. Changes
If the game changes in a way that affects your data, we will update this page and its date before the change takes effect.
