Buy and finance
Choose a plot or an old property to renovate, pay the notary fees and put together a loan application. The bank looks at your deposit, your income and your credit score, and it can say no.
Get permits and build
A building permit comes before any works, and it can be refused or amended. Then pick a contractor and watch the site rise in four stages, with cranes, machines and workers.
Let to tenants
Set the rent against the market, publish a listing and choose between several imperfect applicants. Deal with complaints in time, or the tenant leaves.
Manage risks
Loan instalments, property tax, tax on rents, insurance, security, break-ins, fires, water damage, unpaid rent. A careless owner goes backwards.
Follow the city
A new tram line, a factory closing, rising interest rates, a tourist season: city events are announced in advance and move prices and rents.
Learn as you play
Seven chapters and short “Did you know?” cards explain the broad ideas behind each step: saving, borrowing carefully, yield, leverage, diversification, insurance.
A slow game, on purpose
Four real hours are one month in the game. Salary, rents, charges and loan instalments keep running while the app is closed, and you come back to decide what happens next. Optional notifications can tell you when something needs you: three a day at most, never at night.
A game, not advice
All money in My City, My Empire is fictional. Prices, interest rates, taxes and delays are invented and match no real country. The game is a simplified simulation for entertainment: it is not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Before any real decision, talk to qualified professionals.
No paying to skip the rules
The game is free to download. Gems, bought in the shop or earned by playing, shorten a wait or can be exchanged for fictional in-game cash. They never replace a step: the application, the permit, the payment and the choice remain yours. Ads are rewarded videos that you choose to watch, plus occasional full-screen ads; there are no banners. No account is needed and your game stays on your device.
